Our feature this month is @johnnydtrinh

✨Johnny D Trinh ✨ is a community-engaged artist with practices in spoken word, theatre, and culinary arts. Johnny’s research interests are in autoethnography, and the cultivation of identity through food, story, and memory making. Trinh holds an MFA: Interdisciplinary Studies, and holds leadership roles at: Vancouver Poetry House, Stage to Page Performance Society, and Historic Joy Kogawa House. “It takes a community to build an artist ... whether we are nurtured by it, or resist against it.”

Accessibility:

• Entrance has two manual doors (no automatic doors) and no steps.

• Main floor single and multi-stall gender-neutral washrooms, not AODA-standard washrooms. Strongly scented soap.

• Low and high-top tables, chairs, bar stools, and standing room. Seats are limited, first come first served. We are happy to reserve or find seats for accessibilityq.

• Two steps up to the stage. Wireless Mic available to perform anywhere in the room.

• Can be loud. Background music and overhead lights at breaks.

• Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase. Vegan and gluten-free food options.
